The Unheard — Sound-Led Media Experience
A chaptered media site with an entry ritual instead of a homepage — chapters you move through rather than scroll past.

Overview
Client work for a documentary media project. The brief was a site that behaves more like an instrument than a page: visitors pass through a deliberate entry gate, then move between chapters that each carry their own video, live captions, and ambient sound bed. Around 12,000 lines of Next.js and React across 21 components, coordinated by six providers handling sound, click feedback, page transitions, smooth scroll, layout mode, and the chapter overlay — plus an EXPLORE / JOURNAL toggle that reflows the whole world into a reading layout. Bilingual English and Persian, set inline rather than hidden behind a language switch.
Role
Art direction, frontend architecture, motion and sound design.
